First appearance of the poem 'Us Two' on pages 350/351 in the 'The Royal Magazine', February 1927. This was later published in 'Now we are six', October 1927. From the library of W.A. Darlington, for forty years theatre critic of the Daily Telegraph and intimate friend and golf partner of Milne's. 'Now we are six' is dedicated to his daughter, Anne. This poem would have been read to her first from this copy. Covers lightly foxed and soiled, original staples rusted but intact,faint diagonal crease across the pages. .
