The Bible is Gods love letter to His children, and in it He instructs us, guides us, and comforts us with His loving words. But just as God speaks to us from his own heart, we too can speak to Him, even penning our own letters of love, worship, and gratitude for all He does and for all He is. In Under the Shelter, author and minister Mary Swift Kelly shares some of her personal letters to God, hoping to inspire others to seek God and cultivate a deeper and more trusting relationship with Him. Mary focuses on passages in Gods Word that helped her stay Under the Shelter during her own personal traumatic challenges Life is difficult, and it is her hope that fellow believers can use these lessons for guidance when facing their own difficult challenges. Embracing Gods will and learning how to trust Him when you dont understand, requires faith, but if you are teachable and will courageously yield, you will experience Gods reality deeper then you ever conceived possible. Ponder and meditate upon the questions and personal selections in Under the Shelter, and allow God to expand your understanding.
