Organized chronologically, this covers Picasso's style and development from his early Paris period of 1900/1901 to his renewed Surrealism of 1938. Each plate has several bw images with stylistic annotations. Some plates have a separate paragraph of text commentary as well. Excellent as a teaching or research reference.
