Inhaltsangabe: Designing curricula to train Christian leaders for ministries in urban areas requires careful attention to the context, the kinds of ministries to be done and the people who are to be developed. This book treats the issue of contextualizing leadership development, drawing upon literature about urban studies, missiology, case studies for training leaders and curriculum theory. Principles for the development of leaders in urban ministries are described in ways that apply to a range of circumstances, from small groups to multiple-staffed congregations or agencies. It may be used profitably in both church-based equipping programs and formal educational settings.
