Beschreibung

Manuscript survey map, apparently describing the route of railroad tracks south from Dallas to the Ellis County line, through the city of Lancaster, Texas. Roughly 30 properties along the route are noted, with property owner's name and number of acres. The Dallas Corporate Limits are shown near the top, and the eastern corner of Oak Cliff is indicated as well. There are no identifying or dating notations on the map, but we would estimate that it is probably from somewhere around 1950-1960. From the Rock Island Railroad archives.
