Hand-colored map of what is now most of southern Ontario from Burr's 1835 Universal Atlas. Very good condition, some chipping at edges, bottom corner of margin missing, well outside of the printed area. Full color by district. The map includes all of Lake Ontario and all by the western tip of Lake Erie. Detail shown to the Ottawa River. Bytown, which in 1855 was incorporated as the City of Ottawa, is shown.
