Volumes one and two contain books on drama, fiction, poetry, literary biography, essays and children's books while volume three concerns itself with non-fiction. In all, 2049 items are well-described. A bookseller's catalogue of a superb collection of Victorian literature and Victoriana, rich in presentation and association copies. Items are individually priced but the collection was purchased en bloc by Brigham Young University. Many entries have valuable annotations.The first two parts cover literature, alphabetically by author, and are particularly strong in Arnold, Browning, Butler, Dickens, Hardy, Moore, Ruskin, Swinburne, Tennyson,Thackeray and Wilde.
