These may be requested in advance by Bailgate Books Ltd to be paid on the buyer's behalf or may be required by the courier from the buyer prior to delivery. Bailgate Books Ltd will endeavour to provide buyers with shipping solutions that minimise overall costs whilst maintaing integrity and quality of service.
Delivery costs are based on parcels (books plus packaging) weighing up to 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is in excess of 1kg or 2.2lb, we will
contact you to let you know if there is a required additional delivery charge and its amount.
Please note that if you select standard shipping, tracked information may be only available to ourselves. If you require tracked shipping with tracked information available to yourself, please ensure that you contact us prior to purchase. Please do not seek a tracking number after the sale if you have not already indicated that tracking information visible to yourself will be required.
We sometimes offer significant savings on shipping when delivering more than one book to the same address.
Books sent to addresses other than those from which the payment is made may be sent by a tracked/signed for service and/or additional insurance may be taken out and an extra charge may be made for such orders. Please ensure you notify us if you are asking for books to be delivered to a different person or address that that from which the order is made (drop-shipped).
All shipped books will contain a tax invoice (receipt).
