In good condition. Boards are moderately worn with scuffing, staining and fading along edges. Spine faded. Hinges exhibit small holes. Spine extremes lightly crushed. Gilt finishing remains intact. Second fly leaf chipped along top edge. Interior lightly toned with sporadic foxing throughout particularly along edges. Free of know marginalia. Binding remains tight and intact. Please see photos. Two volumes in one. Early edition of Bayard Taylor s second work. Taylor (1825-1878) was a prolific American travel writer, literary critic and diplomat.
