The library was created following the conversion of the billiards room in 1936 and was predominantly filled with books collected by Anthony de Rothschild. In quarter morocco binding. Rebacked, with the original contemporary calf laid down to the boards. Externally, very smart, with just some very light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Slight darkening to the rebacked calf to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards and spines. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. Some instances of spotting to the pages, more prominent to the first and last few pages and a few of the plates, though many pages do remain bright and clean. Very Good Indeed.
