In a full calf binding. Externally, a little worn, with light rubbing, resulting in loss to the extremities, mostly to the rear board. A small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine, small tear to the head of the front joint. Front hinge is starting but firm. Ink notes to the paste downs and endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some scattered spots and handling marks, and a light tidemark to the head of the first and last few pages. Good.
