Maroon cloth, all edges gilt; No Flaws or Blemishes but minimal shelf handling to the slipcase; Still Gift Quality. 12mo; 7.5 inches tall; 96 pages with selected bibliography; 32 facsimile pages reproduced in color and gold and 7 comparative illustrations in monochrome. Background Information: The Wharncliffe Book of Hours was illuminated in France by a celebrated artist, Ma�tre Fran�ois. It was named for Nicholai Joseph Foucault, a 16th century Earl of Wharncliffe.
