HardcoverThe paper covered front cover has the title in black and a black and white drawing of an ocean cyclone, man plowing with horses reindeer pulling a sled and many more things; the back cover has lists and prices of "Valuable School Publications". The spine is leather, but has detached and is only holding to the covers the front cover has totally detached, the corners are bumped and worn as are the edges; the covers are soiled and darkened with age. The endpapers are age yellowed and have marks to the cover where the paper hinges have pulled away; the first free paper has two former owners' names. There is quite a bit of foxing throughout the book, the pictures and maps seem good and the color on the maps is very bright.
