CHAPTER 1
One Step Further - Beyond Another Step.
Proud
One step further, beyond another step.
Two steps taken, beyond all the rest.
One lie told, for no true reason at all.
So take my hand and laugh, as we both begin to fall ...
Into the deepest part, of what they say is real.
Then we shelter ourselves in darkness, hoping these wounds will heal.
But it really doesn't matter, to no one but you and I.
So I am proud to be here now, proud to say that I'm alive.
Shit
Cold - as the rotting carcass of the child lies awake in the womb.
Dreaming and hoping he may someday reach the tomb.
It withers - the thought of when you held me so close.
Nothing truly remains now, say for this sad and lonely ghost.
Twisted – as all of their faces press through the screen.
I pinch myself and draw blood, because it might just be a dream.
But no matter how hard we try to say, that it's all going to be okay.
We have to come to terms with inevitability and get ready for our graves.
Cold – as the rotting carcass of the child lies awake in the womb.
Feeling the burn as Mother and God bring forth our doom.
So I begin to realize the truth that I just never could get.
Is that all I ever meant to you, was nothing more than shit ...
Madness-Joy
Pages fluttering inside my brain, a growing tornado I like to call rage.
The stones they throw, are the only ground on which for us to step.
The glass might have been half full, but they all took a sip.
Now passion is the only thing that binds me to humanity.
But then again, the true joke was the lie called sanity ...
Pages fluttering inside my veins, pumping reality into the grave.
For any other reason, we need not give them today.
So now the glass is empty, nothing more than a stain.
Then the voices speak up but no one's left to hear.
Pages burning inside my hollow heart.
Bring forth the Madness-Joy of another year.
Feeble & Frail
Feeble and frail, all day talking to myself and still I get no reply.
The motion sticks, "I guess this is it," so maybe we should close our eyes.
The days seem shorter yet somehow I know the weight of Time's Sand.
So I kiss you now upon your heart, but I don't think you understand.
Beaten and brittle, dragging myself one inch closer to the fact.
The drug can't stop me this time, so just try to relax.
And there it sits steaming, the rusted and bloody blade of the ax.
Stuck in that worthless stump called her head.
I pull it out with a jerk, then watch as the blood drains down onto her breast.
Feeble and frail, today I awoke in hell, and still I can't see the light.
The notions pushed, a bleeding sore in the middle of your heart.
The thought of what you've become, it truly tears me apart.
But I know that in this fucked up reality, "I've truly got the upper-hand."
Talking to MYself
Constant voices creeping over my flesh causing chills every time.
The mirror asked me how I was doing, "well I guess I've been fine."
So how far have I come, in this damned eternal rhyme.
It did tickle at first, and now burning needles into my spine ...
What have I said to be treated this way, so useless like trash?
How much more will it take, before I can take a glance back?
It seems so wrong, all the stirring voices that now reach the top.
Someone get me out of this shell, but I think the door has been locked.
Nerves now numb faded and dead, as I move onward into the haze.
Although I know that I don't truly exist, still I have a smile on my face.
Just let me see, as the snow falls once more onto her soft lips.
Then I think I could let go, and admit that I am truly sick.
So where am I going, and how long have I been gone?
Is anyone out there, please somebody sing along ...
It's not working now, so I guess I'll just shout.
Still I get no answer, because I've only been talking to myself.
Butterflies ...
At first I just can't seem to find the words.
She places her hand over my heart and looks into my eyes.
I try my hardest but still no words.
All I can seem to do is watch her stare into my mind.
Nothing seems to surface anymore, only the thought of her smile.
Then I feel them begin to flutter, growing from deep inside.
She takes my hand and guides me away from all my fears.
She says not a thing, but I know she's the one that cares.
I need to speak something, but nothing seems great enough to say.
I can only feel the butterflies, swarming within my brain.
But she doesn't seem to mind, she just guides me on into the light.
I know I'm just a little nervous at first, and had nothing much to say.
But maybe I can smile now, because all the butterflies have flown away.
Okay
Okay then, so what's my fucked up problem today?!
I've done my very best, but for some reason I was still thrown away.
Okay then, let's say that we mean more in the heart of our lord.
Then you come to realize the fact, that you were only a worthless whore.
Just a moment please, I need to get a better grip on this blade.
I need another second, then the wind can blow it all away.
Because we had laughed at the sight of the angel's tormented screams.
That is why all along, you "my love" were nothing more than a sad dream ...
Okay then, so what the fuck now am I going to say?!
I've done said I tried my best, but who gives a shit anyways?
Okay then, take your hand and reach it far into my brain.
You pull out only the dirt and ash of my grave but don't worry yourself.
It's all going to be okay ...
Ever Dead
Growing now, the waking thoughts of the Ever Dead.
Showing now, the troubled breaking notions inside your head.
It's not over now, we still have much more to go.
A damned eternal voyage, through the thirteen oceans of snow.
A bitter pause, because someone close has passed away.
A lingering fog, leaving our once beautiful earth stained.
Now all is lost, or is it us that just cannot be found?
If you truly have the gall, then stand up now and shout!
Growing stronger, the waking thoughts of the Ever Dead.
Slowing down, the Magic Bullet inside your head.
It's not over now, we still must make it to the dawn.
I know you're dead, but please - try to hold on ...
Bones Against You ...
Can...

Shopbeschreibung
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
