This is the 1912 reprint of the first edition of 1906, although it is dated 1906, in A&C Black 20s series. 6¼ x 9" xi + 372 + 8. Includes an index. 74 full colour illustrations and a fold out map. Plate 4 missing although there is no evidence that it was ever there. Very good + in blue cloth with a design blocked in gilt printed in green and white on the front and spine. No dustwrapper. Very slight rubbing to top of spine but the boards are very clean and bright with no fading to spine. Top edge bright gilt, slight foxing to front edge. Some pages are uncut.
