Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Alwyn Crawshaw has written over 25 books on art instruction, all published by HarperCollins. He has a huge following among amateur painters and has made 8 successful TV series on Channel 4 and the Discovery Channel, as well as many videos on painting. Amongst other acheivements, Alwyn founded the Society of Amateur Artists, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a past president of the National Acrylic Painters’ Association. He regularly contributes to Leisure Painter magazine.
Sharon Finmark is an experienced teacher of painting at West Dean College and also runs private workshops in her own studio. Her work has been exhibited at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Academy Business Art Gallery. She has written several articles for ‘The Artist’ and is the author of ‘Learn to Paint – Gardens in Watercolour’.
Trevor Waugh is an established and popular painter who runs very successful workshops and painting holidays. Apart from his attractive watercolour painting, his work is also known to a wide market in the form of greetings cards, prints and other merchandise.
