1951. George G. Harrap & Co. Ltd. Scarce. A Hardback in Very Good condition with a Dust Wrapper in Very Good minus condition. Original blue boards with lettering in gilt to spine. Several interesting colour illustrations throughout and to frontispiece; also black and white illustrations at the beginning of each chapter. Mild toning to page block, and mild dust toning and slight foxing to top of page block. Minor wear to extremities of book. Spine and page block are firm and tight. Pages are clean and unmarked. Previous owner's details neatly in pencil to ffep. A nice copy. The Dust Wrapper is not price clipped; there is wear and toning to the wrapper, and several open chips and small areas of loss.
