Second edition of the unabridged Webster's dictionary published by the C&G Merriam Co in 1950, print date 1951, standard heavy duty yellowish tan cloth cover with two leather title bands on spine one brown and one black, gold lettering on spine and front cover, marbled page edges, plain brown endpapers, standard (not thin) paper, 3214pp. CONDITION: Rather nice condition but rated only "good" because page 577 has been neatly torn out but is laid in. Exterior has slight wear and is lightly soiled by use, title bands on spine are quite worn but lettering is legible, a few pages starting with the Webster biography are quite wrinkled.
