He is notable for his support of proportional representation in Parliament.This lovely and very scarce little book contains his travel notes from his trip around the Isles of Scilly. Courtney was born in Penzance, Cornwall, and lived in Cornwall for much of his life, adding a personal touch to this trip to the archipelago so close to Penzance.From the library of W. A.
