Hardback edition, 1825, printed by J Haddon, Castle Street, Finsbury, with no jacket as issued. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - contemporary marbled-paper covered boards, quarter bound in tan leather with gilt decoration to spine, slightly rubbed to edges and faded to spine, titles to spine faded. Binding tight and appears almost unread. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions; marbled page-ends retain colour, text and 35 black and white plates (from etchings of Captain Batty� s drawings by Edward Finden) bright and clear throughout with no foxing.
