1967, second printing, signed author's limited edition (400 copies), Laguna House (Elsinore, California), 5 3/4 x 8 3/8 inches tall brown pictorial cloth hardcover in publisher's dust jacket, illustrated with black-and-white engravings, 221 pp. the slighest amount of edgewear to covers. Prior owner address label to top margin of front free-endpaper. Nicely signed and numbered by the author on the limitations page facing the title page. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this uncommon issue - in a moderately soiled, chipped and edgeworn dust jacket which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve. ~SP04~ [2.0P] In this work, author Tom Hudson, for many years editor and publisher of the Elsinore, California newspaper, the Lake Elsinore Valley Sun (Tom died in 1988), has caught the transient, fleeting spirit of a realm poised between and just outside the jangling metropoli of modern California.
