Wheen O' Books

Wheen O'Books is a family run virtual book store run by Margaret and Aidan Tierney. We operate from the beautiful Scottish Border country which has been home to many of the literary greats including Sir Walter Scott, James Hogg The Ettrick Shepherd and John Buchan. The name Wheen O'Books translates from the Scots tongue as "Lots of Books". Since 1996 we have been selling books by post, e-mail and on-line to book readers, book collectors, universities and libraries. We think our catalogue entries provide complete, accurate and up to date information but further enquiries are always welcome. Initially space constraints forced us to start selling books gathered through a lifetime of reading and collecting. We enjoyed it so much we developed it into a business. Our impressive stock of books covers a broad range of interesting, unusual and scarce books. As well as an extensive general stock, there is a particular emphasis on Scottish, children, military and crime titles.
