Stock certificate from a territorial Wyoming cattle company dated to 1885. Stock certificate 11 ½" X 7 ¼", has a decorative border and a nice vignette, and contemporary manuscript denotes name of shareholder and amount of shares. No content on verso. In good condition with fold lines, moderate creasing and light soiling. The purchase of 10 shares by "Arthur H. Johnson" was witnessed in Rawlins, Wyoming, May 5th, 1885. The White River Land and Cattle Company would have been witness to the Wyoming cattle boom, which took place between 1868-1886 (Wyoming Historical Society). Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 018832
