A brief bibliographic study of William Hubbard's "A Narrative of the Troubles with the Indians in New England," published in 1677, and seeking to establish which map was correct in the two editions printed that year. By surveying and comparing 50 or so copies of the Boston and London edition, the authors sought to establish definitively in which edition the "White Hills" and "Wine Hills" maps should have appeared.
