Pages inspected and appear clean, but, may have instances of marginalia, notations and other errant marks. Pages tanning. Remain nice reading copies. Good (ex-college library w/ IDs to lower spine, stamps & discard marks to textblock edges, internal stamps, usual markings, etc. boards have scuffs, scratches & smudges w/ some spotted staining. corners & spine ends rubbed. spines sunned. shelf-wear/scuffs to lower textblock edges. both volumes have splits to cover hinges; binding material intact, though vol2 back split is deeper; boards firm).
