Issued from January 1895 (as included here) up until 1939, the magazine featured work by the likes of Arnold Bennett and Rudyard Kipling. Illustrated throughout with plates and vignettes, this first volume makes for a hugely interesting insight into Victorian literature. In morocco binding with gilt detailing. Externally sound, there is wear to the boards and extremities, with some strain to hinges. Internally, the pages are firmly bound but are somewhat spotted throughout. Very Good.
