Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - in a slightly rubbed dust jacket which has a slightly darkened spine but is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve. ~M~ [1.0P] A book of poetry centered on the theme of American Democracy, a composite of poetic expressions about our wars and the historical events in which our Nation has been involved, arranged chronologically. Poet and author Caroline Langman Converse (1878-1976) was the daughter of German immigrants to Hall County, Nebraska, and moved to Los Angeles later in life.
