This double sided celestial map shows constellations visible in the summer sky (within the continental United States) from one perspective, while rotating the sheet 180 degrees shows constellations from the winter sky. Solid and dotted perimeters differentiate the seasonal options and the overlap between the two contain some of the most recognizable star patterns; including Cassiopeia, Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. Further information, and illustrations of the twelve zodiac constellations can be seen on the verso. The sheet was issued in 1979 by the National Geographic Society.
