An acceptable condition book. Heavy splitting and chipping to the book edges, with strips of netting exposed along the spine edges and particularly notable loss to the bottom board corners. A crack to the hinge beside the front board also shows netting and makes the board feel loose. A few cracks to the guttering throughout but all pages are attached. The contents show a typical amount of handling and age with darkened outer textblock edges. The pages do remain very sturdy and the print is unfaded, and the colour plates are still vibrant throughout. Some pages, particularly at the textblock centre, are very decent.
