Pages are mildly tanned, but text remains clear. Visible marking to some pages throughout, but text is not affected. Binding is firm. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine is slightly tanned, with heavy crushing and splitting to ends. Gilt to spine remains bright.
