This a little difficult to describe as I cannot find any date of publication but I believe, from other sources, that it was published in 1984. A soft decorative yellow cover with the title and The City Of Stoke On Trent Historic Buildings Survey in bold black lettering. The cover condition is excellent The cover is attached by three staples which are clean and rust free.Internally the lettering is typed not printed. Indicating this may have been a proof copy produced before the publication date I have. This is a comprehensive and fascinating look at the workhouse system in the Staffordshire Potteries. Much of the information used for Stoke was taken from the Historic buildings survey Of The City of Stoke. This also includes Penkhull,Norton In The Moors, Trentham, Wolstanton and Burslem. It has 51 pages and is full of reproduction photographs and plans. Three large pull out plans at the back. I welcome any questions about this fascinating item.
