Green half-leather on marbled boards, gilt titling and decoration with raised bands to spine, gilt to top of textblock edge, marbled end papers, decorated half title page, frontispiece with tissue guard, black and white illustrations, uncut pages. The volumes are in wonderful condition with minor edge wear. The only apparent flaw is the sunned spines and light sunning to the front of volume one and twelve. A beautiful set which appears to be unread as the pages are still uncut. A beautiful set in great condition. This is a heavy set of 12 volumes.
