'The Biographical Edition' featuring "Ballads and Miscellanies". In very good bright red cloth boards, initials of author in gilt to front and titles to spine. The boards are flat and tight; spine sunned and spine ends bumped; small kink to front fore edge. The black end papers are unmarked. The text block is illustrated in black and white by The Author, George Cruikshank and John Leech and includes a frontispiece with quite clean tissue guard. The top cut edge is in gilt and the fore and tail edges are marked and deckled. The pages are level and secure, the prelims and some of the pages are lightly foxed. A few pages are uncut. Very good condition. No dedications etc. Publisher's list to rear. Without jacket.
