Frontispiece and engraved title with vignette. Small damp stain to upper corner of frontispiece and title, very good. The first part of the work comprises a collection of Smith's articles for the Edinburgh Review, typically reviews of works on education, religion and travel accounts, also a few regarding social sciences.
