First British book club edition in scarce dust jacket, originally published in America as Solar Lottery (PKD's first published work) in 1955. Tight binding with minor wear to edges and spine ends. Dust soiling to top edge of text block. The text is unmarked. Endpapers on either side show faint vertical strips of off-white discoloration (approx. half inch wide). The dust jacket is edge worn and lightly soiled with small chips, tears, and darkening to spine, in a mylar cover.
