Chapter One

PART 1

The Divine Hand in Life

This is my journal, "my journey" into the God bond and the continuing discovery of god. These "writings" from the ONE were started two days after the "Oneness Bhakti Yoga" Event, which took place in Boulder, Colorado, in February 2011 ~

People often ask me, "What was your spiritual upbringing in childhood?" So here is a brief summary, as it is very relevant to the NOW. I was brought up Catholic by a very conservative midwestern family. I was taken to church every week and put through the Catholic religious programs. I have to admit: they completely scared me! The churches, the priests, the religious ceremonies all seemed so forced and unnatural! I actually shunned this religion the minute I left home for college.

My mother naturally was very spiritual and cosmic. In jest, I refer to her as "mother earth woman": she taught me from a very young age to connect with nature, the animals, the universe, the earth, planets, and stars. She taught me how to live my life from the heart. My natural mystical side took over at a very young age; I grew up on four hundred acres of beautiful woods, rivers, and ponds surrounded by nature and animals.

My father taught me all of the practical sides of being successful in life. He gave me the best education and travels, and continually bestowed confidence to me to "accomplish anything I set my mind to".

In my teens, I learned to start communicating with the Universe, asking for my needs to be met, and listening for the answers. I was in a very good flow with the Universe at this time in my life. In my early twenties, I started experiencing powerful mystical experiences and visions. These visions were all about the NOW, this time of the Great Shift.

I have felt the Presence in my body my whole life ~ The voice of god started giving me instructions very clearly right around 9/11. I was amazed, but also FEARED this voice of god. I rejected it at that point in my life and sank into a deep, dark depression in my early thirties. I could no longer FEEL the Presence ~ I was completely separate and alone, suffering and in such despair that I didn't think I "was going to make it." I finally surrendered to the Universe, gave up, and stopped resisting the depression ~ that is when my life started to turn around ~

I began trying to mediate, briefly at first. It was difficult because I had "monkey mind." It was frustrating, so I then started making demands to the Universe in my meditations for my "Teacher" to show up. I remember yelling up to the sky, "I am ready! Please come." I said this every day for almost two years. Then in April 2006, I had the most fantastic and powerful mystical experience of my life: a vision of the Avatar of Awakening: Sri Bhagavan. He was beckoning to me as the Ascended Master. I had never heard of Sri Bhagavan, or the Oneness University, or of Deeksha at that point in my life. During this vision, Sri Bhagavan was giving me Universal energy through his eyes. He was "activating my hands," showing me the "fire ceremonies of India," and explaining them to me. I woke up repeating, "Deeksha, Deeksha, Deeksha," over and over in my head. Through a series of synchronicities, I attended my first Oneness Event a few weeks later. I received my first hands-on Deekshas, which subsequently silenced my mind and started my path with the Oneness Movement.

I now realize Sri Bhagavan was activating the "writing through the hands" in my mystical vision. Originally, I thought he was activating the Deeksha through my hands, but recent realizations have shown me that it was the "sacred contract of writing" that was being activated and initiated at that moment. He was activating the Universal Laws and Wisdoms to flow through the hand. So here is my journey as to how the "god conversations" and "writings from the ONE" started.

I am not a writer, an editor, an English major, or anything of that sort ~ Nor have I ever desired to be a writer. I come from an investment banking background. I have always had a "head for numbers"; science and quantum physics have always excited me. I read some "spiritual books" back in my twenties; they were about THE FIELD and the Universe.

These "writings" are the unedited version of my recent experiences of the discovery of the Divine ~ a simple transcription from my "notebooks" onto the computer. My apologies in advance for any editing errors ~

The following section describes the experience of the Presence descending into me, during an ancient Vedic ceremony, called Oneness Bhakti Yoga. These processes originate from the Oneness University in southern India. In the "Addendum" section at the end of this book, there is an explanation about the Oneness University. Yes, some Sanskrit terms and other words are used throughout these "writings" that you will not be familiar with. Just remember that energy is transferred through these words ~

February 2011:

It was then time for the helpers to be the last to take the Deeksha, so I waited until I could go to my Sri Murthi (picture) that I had brought from home, and when I got there, I kneeled in front, stared right into the eyes of Sri Bhagavan, didn't touch it yet, and announced to him, "Sri Bhagavan, I now know without a doubt that you have the power to fully awaken people through this process, and to bring them into awakened states, and into God-Realization. I have seen it with my own two eyes, I know 100% that you can do this." I then commanded Sri Bhagavan: "This is the time to give it to me now. I know I have been blocking Grace my whole life, I SEE that, so help me `accept' the grace right here and now to awaken me. I need your help to 'accept the grace', I cannot do it on my own. I also now know my 'Fear of being Awakened.' I command you to have the grace come in and knock this fear to pieces. I command you to bring the grace in, right now."

I touched the Sri Murthi, and the Deeksha started to come through right away. I kept talking the whole time to the Divine as the Presence was entering my body and moving through my whole being. The Presence was smashing the wall of my mind to pieces with the force of a tsunami. The cement walls around my heart were being shattered. I could not move. I was not sure how long I was up at the Sri Murthi. I was left there until after the event was over and the clean-up started. I then sat up, with the Presence flowing through me like a rushing river, looking around at the helpers ~ meanwhile the "I" was supposed to be organizing the clean-up. There was no "I," just awareness of THE FIELD ~ a thick, smoky haze could be seen and felt all around me. THE FIELD around me was the same as the Presence in me. I moved to the side of the room and back a bit, I definitely gave up on the idea that I was going to be cleaning at all (!), and just "conversed" with THE FIELD nonstop, and saying, "AH, friend, THERE YOU ARE, FINALLY!"

I started to praise MY FRIEND. I was not sure how long this went on. I started to ask THE FIELD for what I wanted to happen; I started to experiment with THIS FIELD. It was so immediately interactive and responsive; the magical FIELD OF GRACE was being revealed to me, as me, right now! Then I did get up to clean up the event; after all, it was the job I signed up for ~ So I finished up with all the details and headed back to a quiet and dark hotel room and was taken through "process" all night long, with the...
