Oban Tate-e vertical print,very clean Yoshida brush & pencil signed, seal, dated Showa 10th. year, "Jizuri" "Self-Printed," block printed English titled on left margin, 37.6 x 24.4 cm, lightly toned edges. FIRST ED. . *** *** *** . . AN EXCELLENT SHIN-HANGA EXAMPLE BY THE MASTER . . . "YASAKA JINJA" or "THE YASAKA SHRINE" . . . FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING . *** The work is color woodblock-printed on deckle edge paper to the top and left edges. This print is the "Jizuri" or "Self-Printed" edition, brush signed and also pencil signed, with his cinnabar seal [Hanko], dated Showa 10th year = 1935, most likely printed in a small edition of less than 200 copies. . *** Color photos are posted to our website. . *** CONDITION: The work is very clean, two tiny pin holes in the extreme left margin print unaffected, edges lightly toned from mat, else there are no issues. . *** REFERENCES: .
