In a past-post apocalyptic North America the dust has been settled for centuries; but the cry of rebellion is ready to upset it once again as the Western United Territories has broken free from the oppression of the Western Continental Republic. Armies march to quell the rebellion, but a new power is poised to upset even the best layed plans and the fate of a people hang on the shoulders of a few brave soldiers and a woe-some father as the continent descends into war. Prepare for struggle not just of might but of wills as some fight not just their enemies but themselves and ask the question, "what does it mean to be human?"

Hi, I'm Peter Kenna, born February 14, 1991, in Harvard, Massachusetts. I have always been fascinated by the places a book can take you. Literature is the only format in which one can get connected to characters and events not only in the way authors intend, but also at a pace which can truly be enjoyed. I hope that I can take you, the reader, to a place where you can escape and become engulfed in adventure. I hope that through my writing you can feel the characters and see the world they live in as though you yourself have been there. Since a young age I have been writing, but as the first work I have completed, I hope that ZENU, is an experience you can truly enjoy.
