I wrote for six years before I sold a short story. My writing evolved into book length, but I wrote off and on for over 20 years before I sold a book-length manuscript. That was five books and many short stories ago.

I write romantic suspense books (with one romantic adventure in there, River of Dreams), love and danger in exotic settings, a powerful, inspiring mixture for me. Yet there are no sex scenes in my books. Hawaii and England speak to me as settings. Ireland does too but I don't think I could do it justice without visiting first. I've visited England and Hawaii.

I'm now venturing out into publishing my short stories, singly. They're mystery, romance, and a few children's and young adult thrown in.
