Anju Gattani

Fiction author, blogger and freelance international journalist Anju Gattani has published cover stories, fiction, feature, news, travel, parenting and perspective pieces. Anju was first published at the age of 7 in Hong Kong’s leading newspaper, The South China Morning Post. Anju pursued her passion for writing, filling numerous diaries with poems and floated on a cloud of imagination with her imaginary characters.

Born in India, Anju grew up in Hong Kong, and later lived in Singapore and Australia. In the US, she’s lived in New Jersey, Connecticut, and finally settled in Atlanta, GA, with her husband, two dashing boys, and a rebel lion-head rabbit.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, is a London Montessori teacher, and specializes in Creative Writing and Content Marketing. Besides reading, Anju’s interests in travel, fusion-cooking, and listening to the best of Hollywood and Bollywood beats help her create new vegetarian dishes infused with the same zest and synergy she blends in her stories.

Duty and Desire is the debut in her Winds of Fire series. Her greatest hope for her books is that they will Bridge Cultures and Break Barriers.
