Javier Mozas

Javier Mozas is an architect and an urbanist from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Madrid (ETSAM). He runs Mozas+Aguirre arquitectos in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain) together with Eduardo Aguirre, and he forms part of a+t research group. Javier Mozas, the journalist Aurora Fernández Per and the architect Javier Arpa are responsible for wide research on collective housing, density, mixed use buildings and public space included in a+t publications.

Mozas, Fernández Per and Arpa are the authors of the Density series books -Dbook, Density Condensed, Density Projects, HoCo, Next and Density is Home-, which became a reference for publications about collective housing worldwide.

They have lectured at numerous Universities, Institutions and International Workshops, like the Graz University of Technology’s Dense Cities symposium and the Master´s Degree in Collective Housing of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Madrid.
