Sandy L. Davis

Oregon native Sandy L. Davis has spent most of her life living unconventionally. Her belief in out-of-the box thinking and do-it-yourself living is demonstrated in her book, Missives from Maravida: A Family's Caribbean Sailboat Adventure. Thanks to being married to a man who's unafraid to dive into any project, Sandy has learned how to take on many new challenges herself, including finishing drywall; painting anything, anywhere (whether on a boat or on a house three stories up a ladder); and now writing books and self-publishing. In addition, she is mother, editor, and cheerleader to two college students, as well as nurturer to two well-traveled cats. She cherishes vistas, bright colors, libraries, and travel.
