Jake Adler began many moons ago enjoying playing classical Dungeons and Dragons with his brother. He then progressed onto Sci/Fi games on the Commodore 64, then the PC and in more recent times the Xbox 360, but as the Xbox One is currently equivalent to the Gross Domestic Product of a small country, he is waiting to get one of those. He loves RPG in general and is looking forward to November 2014 for the release of a particular game that has Dragons in it. RPG fans will know the one that he's talking about.
He has written fantasy stories all his life. He also draws key characters and object sketches and one of these is included in the opening pages of 'The Dragon's Cup' with the image of a Raven. In future, he may add more. His stories are meant to take you on an adventure, to magical worlds, filled with strange and exotic creatures and races. His works hark back to a golden age of classical fantasy. They contain fighting, adventure, humor, romance, jealousy, in fact the entire range of human emotions. His works are inspired by real research. All magical words and phrases consist of real, original Latin. Lebor Gabála, the Book of Invasions is an ancient fabled tome that gives account of some of the races that invaded, settled and some that disappeared from the Celtic land of Eire. Of the many settlers, the Tuatha Dé Danann, were a group of people and creatures born of magic under the Goddess Danu. As well as Celtic mythology, his works are inspired by Greek, Norse and Roman mythology.
