Dear reader,

It has come to my attention that an article written by C. C. Uhlenbeck one year after he wrote this piece, contained a page of corrections to the Blackfoot that is represented in this book. Please visit this book's www.amazon.com page, for instructions on how to print a copy of the updated double sided insert page. I have put the text of Uhlenbeck's corrections there, citing the source and keying it [page and line] to this translation. I have also taken this opportunity to include a couple of spelling corrections to my text. I strongly urge any owner of this book to make a double sided insert out of the updated material and slide it into their copy. I intend to maintain this updated info online and to keep this first and only edition available indefinitely, eliminating the need for expensive printed revisions and any chance that a copy of this book would be considered outdated because of a newer revised edition.
