Chloe Wilson has worked as a physiotherapist in the UK for over 10 years. Training in Sheffield, UK, she has since worked in a number of different hospitals and health centres in Oxfordshire, England, as well as overseas in Uganda, East Africa.
She specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy including in-patient and out-patient trauma and orthopaedics. She ran the lower limb rehab team at the Horton Hospital, Oxfordshire and also worked in a GP commissioned triage service.
Her passion is to empower people and thoroughly involve them in the rehab process, which led her to creating the website, knee-pain-explained.com back in 2010. It was such a success that in 2013, she went on to develop a sister site, foot-pain-explored.com, with more in the pipeline for the near future.
Chloe has carried out a number of post graduate courses including the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine Lower Limb Course, Acupuncture, Trigger Points, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Pilates.
It was following repeated requests from site visitors that she began to write books offering a greater depth and range of information to compliment the sites, for those who are looking for that bit more.
