Chris Adel

Chris Adel was born in Vienna, Austria to lovely parents, worked in Strasbourg, London, Graz and Tokyo, and returned to Vienna in 2014.

For 15 years he worked as a chemist in various environments. He spent quite some time in Latin America and Asia writing and traveling - inspiring him to the upcoming "The Ballad of the Sperm Whale and the Giant Squid" book series.

His first published short story, "Melken," won the Land Forum Literaturpreis in 2011. In 2019, "Island Universe", a short story collection, was published.
