Das Gebet bringt verschiedene Dimensionen ins Spiel, aus denen religiöse Identität entsteht. Es gibt frühe Zeugnisse davon, dass das Gebet »praktizierte Theologie« war und dadurch mit aufkommenden Theologien verflochten war.
