Harris's signed inscription is on the front free end paper.Harris, later the author of the anthology A Swansea Boy, was a poet particularly reflective of his Welsh heritage and the whimsical poems in this particular anthology demonstrate this. As well as a focus on Welsh natural beauty, Harris also writes poems concerned with Celtic and Medieval folklore, including the Arthurian Legends.
