Themis Chronopoulos

Themis Chronopoulos is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Historical Analysis, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey, U.S.A. His fields of specialization include Urban History, American Studies, Race and Ethnicity, Popular Culture, Public Policy, World Cities,and Human Geography. Chronopoulos has previously taught at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Miami University, Rhode Island School of Design, Brown University, and the City University of New York, College of Staten Island, and has held a visiting position at the University of Cape Town. His current research projects include social inequality, urban governance, immigration, neoliberal urbanization, and spatial mobility in cities located in the Americas, Africa, and Europe.
