Fascinated by the junction of historical fact and fiction, I have just finished writing another novel set in 17th century France, this one about the cut-throat theatre wars of the period--Corneille! Racine! Molière! Naturally this novel also involves yet another of the Sun King's lovers as well as a witch. It will be published in the spring of 2013.

I am about to begin writing a Young Adult novel (or two) about Joséphine's daughter Hortense. It's exciting to be returning to Joséphine's world.
